Educating in Values, the Love of Nature

It is very important that children are very young, learn through their parents and educators, to respect and value nature. The love of nature will lead them to love and appreciate the natural world and act in harmony with these sentiments, contributing to its care and preservation. Children need to understand that the health of the world depends on all of us, what we do to keep everything well maintained, beautiful and radiant. We must protect the world. The Earth is our planet; it is our duty to take care.

Learn to love nature
To ensure that children have a love of nature is the best way to enrich their experiences, plan activities in order to teach them to love the environment, to facilitate the child’s contact with the countryside, mountains, rivers, and all that encompasses nature, and give them the opportunity to observe, question, and express their ideas on the subject.

The child may learn to love nature:
- Having contact with it whenever possible
- In the countryside tours
- In some farm tours
- Learning to plant a tree
- Learning to make a garden
- Finding and drawing insects, their shapes, colors
- Caring for a pet
- Respecting animals, rivers, plants and flowers
- Visiting a botanical garden
- No throwing garbage on the street, in the field or in the rivers and sea
- Saving water and electricity
- Following the example, interest and care for their parents to topic
